Hygiene and Safety Plan

In Parador de Alcalá, security measures and new hygiene protocols have been implemented that will allow us to offer you a service with the maximum guarantees.

We have participated in the cleaning and disinfection activities in all the hotel facilities through the “Sanitizing and Sanitizing together” campaign developed by the local authorities.

The entities that advise us and endorse our procedures in the face of the current health emergency:

  • SECTUR Secretary of Tourism of the Government of the State of Oaxaca
  • AMHM Mexican Association of Hotels and Motels
  • Safe Travels WTTC
  • Hogan Lovells Law Firm

This plan will be continuously updated with the information provided by the Secretary of Health and include the following measures.

Front desk

  • Upon arrival, the use of face mask will be required, the temperature will be taken and they will go through the disinfection mat to try to make the hotel a safer place. Also to collaborators and suppliers
  • When performing the check in process you will find disinfectant gel and a protection screen on the counter that will allow you to interact in complete safety
  • We disinfect all delivery material to the customer (room cards). At the same time, we have reinforced the cleaning and disinfection of the counters
  • We provide basic prevention information and rules on the correct use of the facilities to all clients
  • We will disinfect the suitcase by the bellboy, according to availability
  • Valet parking service: will not be available in the early stages of deconfinement

Rooms

  • We want to make your room a safe place where we have intensified the cleaning and disinfection processes
  • The daily room cleaning service will be maintained as long as the guest is out of the room. In the event that the guest rejects this service, the change of towels will also be maintained every day
  • A special Covid-19 amenity kit is available, which includes a face mask, alcoholic towel, and antibacterial gel

Some services will also be modified:

  • Minibar service in Suites on request (it will remain empty and can be requested through the reception or the food and drink points of the hotel)
  • All service kits (dental, sewing kit, bath cap and body cream) will be on request, we will keep only the essentials inside the room such as soap, shampoo and softener
  • Breakfast served at Restaurante El Patio will be an a la carte breakfast, and you can enjoy breakfast in the main hotel dining room or in your room
  • Irons and dryers not anchored will be on request

  • Come back to taste alone or in company with our delicious dishes. We have reduced the number of tables and we will always respect the capacity and measures of social distancing

In addition, the following services will be transformed as detailed:

  • Takeaway service is offered
  • Room service will be done with all the necessary care, and the order will always be delivered in the hallway
  • Products from the minibar in Suites can be ordered through the reception or at the hotel's food and beverage outlets
  • Physical menu cards in rooms, restaurants and bars are eliminated (service offered via APP or through digital signage or blackboard elements)

Pool & Terrace

  • Keep enjoying one of our elders attractives. To make this possible, we have modified the distribution of furniture (lounge chairs, tables and chairs) so that at all times we maintain the safety distance
  • Drinks service in the solarium area will be offered on request
  • All the processes of management and maintenance will also be used

  • Celebrate your event at our hotel when the epidemiological signaling is green with new distributions to respect social distance, respecting official regulations at all times
